I got another late jump on the day this time out of some combination of tiredness and laziness. So again at 11:30 I set out into more mist. Luckily the sun actually came out today at 1:30 and made hiking much more exciting. Lots of steep climbs and descents kept my milage lower than I'd hoped. I pitched again at a vacant site just passed the road to Hiawassee. Tonight there's supposed to be pretty torrential rain and lightning so hopefully I'll sleep alright. On the brighter side I'll be clear of Georgia tomorrow.
